VIDDIX Basics
Registration and login [up]
Registration is simple, after completing our registration form you will receive an email with a generated password. Use this password in combination with your username to login. Don't forget to change your password!
Uploading a video [up]
| After login, navigate from your dashboard to 'My videos'. Click the 'upload video' button. A standard browse screen will appear. After browsing and choosing your video file, click 'upload'. Your video will be uploaded to VIDDIX.com and converted to webformat (FLV). Please be patient and wait till the next screen appears. After uploading and converting, a screen appears which asks you to provide video information. Fill in the required fields and choose 'save'. Your video is now ready to be enhanced with cuepoints! |

iPanel content can be added to your video by using the 'Cuepoint Manager'.
To open up the Cuepoint Manager click the 'Cuepoints' button from the video you want to enrich.
To add a cuepoint pause the video on a point where you would like to add content and click 'add cuepoint'.
This opens up the 'new cuepoint' screen. In this screen you can choose from several cuepoint presets. First of all you'll have to name your cuepoint. Then verify if the time where the cuepoint has to appear is correct or manually adjust it. The following presets are now available; text, image, link, poll, RSS and custom. After you've chosen a preset it will be highlighted orange. Click 'save' to advance to the cuepointpreset screen. |

Publishing video [up]
| When done adding cuepoints to your video, you are ready to publish your video to the world. Simply go to 'My videos' in your Dashboard and select 'published' as status. (green) |

Definitions
iPanel [up]
| The iPanel is the panel next to the videopanel. This panel shows all cuepoints which the video contains. |  |

The dashboard appears when you login to VIDDIX.com. The dashboard contains all kinds of data linked to your account. In dashboard you will find the
following options; my videos, favorites, statistics, invites and my account. My videos In this section you can view, edit and delete all your uploaded videos. To view a video in your videocollection, you can click the thumbnail of the video. Favorites Here you can view or delete all your added favorite videos. Statistics In this section you can view your answered polls and view what other people answered on your created poll and see the five latest comments added to your videos. Invite Every account has two invites to give away. Other people can join VIDDIX with an invite without waiting to be activated. My account This is the place where all your personal and channel information is stored. You can change everything except your username and email address. You can also change your password here. |

Cuepoints [up]
Cuepoints are the extra elements which appear in the iPanel. The cuepoints are connected to the timeline of a video. The following presets are available: text, image, link, poll, RSS and custom. VIDDIX strives to expand the number of cuepoint presets in the future.
Cuepointpresets [up]

iPanel content can be easily added by using the different 'presets'. The following presets are available: Text preset With this preset you can easily add text to a cuepoint. Just type in the textarea and change the font type and color etc. Image preset With this preset you can easily add an image to a cuepoint. Just browse for an image on your computer and click the 'save' button. Your picture will be scaled down so its fits the 430 x 300 pixels screen. Your image will also be clickable to see the original size. Link preset Add links to your video. Add text in the textfield which will be shown in the cuepoint. The field below is the URL field. In this field you'll have to provide the URL of the website where the link user has to be directed to. Poll preset Easily add a poll as a cuepoint. Enter a question and up to 5 answers. RSS preset Add RSS Feeds as a cuepoint! Enter a RSS feed URL and your done. Custom preset This preset gives you the freedom to create anything you want. You can even go into source mode and edit in HTML. |
