After registering with VIDDIX you will receive a free account. Within this account you can upload an unlimited amount of videos. These videos will have a 50mb uploadlimit each and will also contain a watermark. With a free account you have acces to your own dashboard which contains handy information about your videos and much more. The cuepointpresets 'text, link, image, poll, rss and custom' will be available. To get more cuepoint presets and higher quality videos with no uploadlimit and much more, you'll have to upgrade your account.

VIDDIX offers three accounttypes. The free account is available for everyone who registers at VIDDIX. The 'basic' account and 'pro' account will have more features and let you upload higher quality video and gives you more options. Visit the VIDDIX businesspage for more information.

Login with your accountdeatails and click the 'upload video' button. Here you can browse for your videofiles on your computer. The VIDDIX upload system supports all sorts of raw formats (.avi, .wmv, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .mp4, .flv) and converts them to FLV for optimal webperformance.

After you uploaded a video you will be automatically redirected to the Cuepoint Manager where you can start adding cuepoints to your video. You can also enter this screen via 'My videos' in your dashboard by clicking 'Cuepoints'. When you're in the Cuepoint Manager, scrub through your video on the left and pause the video where you want the cuepoint to appear. Click the 'Add cuepoint' button to open the 'add cuepoint' screen. Here you can give your cuepoint a name and adjust the time when it had to appear when needed. The next step is to choose a cuepoint type. A free account can choose from text, link, image, poll, RSS and custom. When upgraded the external cuepoint will also be available. After choosing your cuepoint type, the cuepoint is added to the timeline of your video.

With this preset you can easily add text to a cuepoint. Just type in the textarea and change the style such as the font type, font size and color. You can also change the background color with the backgroundcolor button.

With this preset you can easily add an image to a cuepoint. You can make you image clickable to a website or to enlarge itself. Just browse for an image on your computer and click the 'save' button. Your picture will then be scaled down so its fits the 430 x 300 pixels screen. .

In the URL field you'll have to provide the URL of the website where the link has to direct to. In the namefield you can specify the text of how the link should appear. You can also provide the link color, background color and different fontsizes and types here.

With this preset you can ask your audience a question. Just provide a question and a maximum of 5 answers and thats it.

With this preset you can easily show your audience an RSS feed. Just provide the URL of the feed and you are ready.

When done adding cuepoints to your video, you are ready to publish your video to the world. Simply go to 'My videos' in your Dashboard and select 'published' as status. (green) When you want to unpublish your video, just click the statusbutton again so its red and 'unpublished'.

You can embed your videos by hovering over the videopanel of your video. You can now click on the Embed button and the embedcode will appear. Use this code in your website to embed your video. Alternatively you can find the embed code of your videos in your Dashboard under 'My videos'

The 'Custom' cuepoint is for more advanced users. With this cuepoint you can build mini HTML websites as cuepoints by clicking on the 'source'button. In here you are free to build anything you want. (think of images with links,texts, backgroundimages, flashgames or a combination of all)

With this cuepoint you are allowed to build and host your own webbased files and connect them to the video.

Basic and Pro users are allowed to make templates over their videos. Just go to your dashboard and select the Template Manager. In here you can create a new template and upload a header, content and a footer imagefile. After completing your template go to your desired video in the 'my videos' section and select 'edit properties'. In here you can assign the template to your video.

Basic and Pro users are allowed to customize their VIDDIX player. Go to your desired video in the 'my videos' section and select 'edit properties'. In here you can select of deselect all the desired visible elements you want to appear in the player.

The VIDDIX videoplayer is divided into two panels. The left panel is the videopanel where the video plays. The panel next to it on the right is the iPanel. This panel shows all interactive elements provided by the publisher.

Cuepoints are the extra elements which appear in the iPanel and where provided by the publisher. These cuepoints are connected to the timeline of the video. The following presets are available: text, image, link, poll, RSS and custom. VIDDIX strives to expand the number of cuepoint presets in the future.

Your dashboard appears after you login to VIDDIX. The dashboard contains all kinds of data linked to your account. In dashboard you will find the following options; my videos, favorites, statistics, invites and my account.
My videos
In this section you can view, edit and delete all your uploaded videos. To view a video in your videocollection, you can click the thumbnail of the video.
Favorites
Here you can view or delete all your added favorite videos.
Statistics
In this section you can view your answered polls and view what other people answered on your created poll and see the five latest comments added to your videos.
Invite
Every account has two invites to give away.
My account
This is the place where all your personal and channel information is stored. You can change everything except your username and email address. You can also change your password here.
